The Minnesota Wild topped the Colorado Avalanche 1-0 in overtime Monday night at Xcel Energy Center. The Avs lead the Wild two games to one in the best-of-seven series, with game four scheduled for Thursday night.

Mikael Granlund scored the game’s only goal at 5:08 of overtime to get the win, with assists going to Zach Parise and Jason Pominville.  A stellar individual effort, Granlund spun the puck out  of the corner and fought his way to the front of the net for a diving shot that beat Semyon Varlamov for the winner.

The Wild outshot Colorado 46-22 for the game, including 22-8 margin in the opening period.
