The Minnesota Timberwolves trailed for most of their 117-113 loss to the Denver Nuggets at Pepsi Center Friday night.

The Nuggets jumped out to a 35-26 lead after the first quarter and essentially never looked back, with the Wolves coming within a handful of points near the end of the game but failing to hit the shot for the equalizer.

Kevin Love had 28 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota, and Kevin Martin added 27. The Nuggets were lead by Wilson Chandler with 19 points, while seven Denver players put up double-digit points.
