The Vikings won 21-14 at home against the Chicago Bears Sunday.  Minnesota went out to a 14-0 lead and led 14-7 at halftime.  The Vikings got a 56-yard interception return touchdown from Harrison Smith in the 2nd half that helped secure the win.  Adrian Peterson ran for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns on 31 carries.

Peterson has run for 1,600 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.  He is 400 yards away from a 2,000 yard rushing season and 506 yards away from the single season rushing record held by Eric Dickerson.  Christian Ponder was 11-17 passing for 81 yards and 1 interception.

Jay Cutler threw for 260 yards and 1 touchdown before leaving with a neck injury.  Brandon Marshall had 10 catches for 160 yards and 1 touchdown.
