MINNEAPOLIS - The Twins have reached an apparent agreement with free agent Kendrys Morales.

He will reportedly make around $7.6 million this season with Minnesota. The Twins haven't yet officialy confirmed the deal.

Morales was a free agent during the offseason, but couldn't get a deal done with any team after declining a qualifying offer from the Mariners. Any team that signed him before the first year player draft would have lost a pick.

Morales hit .277 with 23 homers and 80 RBIs for the Mariners last season.
