Timberwolves End Skid at Sacramento
The Timberwolves ended a 5-game losing streak with a 97-89 win at Sacramento Tuesday night. Kevin Love had his best game since coming back from a broken hand by scoring 23 points and added 24 rebounds. Luke Ridnour added 18 points and Nikola Pekovic chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. 5 players scored in double figures for Minnesota.
The Timberwolves shot 46 percent from the field while Sacramento shot 44 percent. The Wolves out-rebounded Sacramento 51-36 and improve to 6-7. The Wolves will play at the L.A. Clippers tonight at 9:30, pregame on WJON at 9:00.
