Lynx Fall In 2 Overtimes To Seattle

The Lynx lost 86-79 in double overtime at Seattle in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals Sunday. Rebekkah Brunson led the Lynx with 22 points and 15 rebounds and Seimone Augustus added 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Lynx. Minnesota shot 32 percent from the field while Seattle shot 40 percent.

Lynx Continue Hot Streak Against San Antonio

The Minnesota Lynx won 81-62 over San Antonio Sunday to have won 11 straight. The Lynx are 9-0 since the Olympics. Maya Moore led the Lynx with 18 points and 12 rebounds and Rebekkah Brunson added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Minnesota. The Lynx shot 55 percent while San Antonio shot 36 percent.

The Minnesota Lynx defeated Atlanta 88-74 Sunday night in game 1 of the WNBA Finals. Rebekkah Brunson led the Lynx with 26 points and 11 rebounds, Seimone Augustus added 22 points and Lindsay Whalen chipped in 15 points for Minnesota.

The Minnesota Lynx will have 4 players on the Western Conference All Star team this season. Three Lynx players were chosen as Western Conference reserves yesterday. The three are point guard Lindsay Whalen, shooting guard Seimone Augustus, and forward Rebekkah Brunson. They join Maya Moore as All Stars. Moore will start for the Western Conference.

Lynx' forward Rebekkah Brunson was named the Western Conference Player of the week in the WNBA. She averaged 14.8 points and posted double-doubles in her first 4 games of the season. Brunson has won the award one other time in her career. The Lynx are 3-1 this season and will host Atlanta at 7pm Friday.
