Love Extends Streak But Timberwolves Lose
The Timberwolves lost 108-105 Monday night against Dallas but Kevin Love extended his double-double streak to 51 games. Love had 23 points and 17 rebounds and Michael Beasley added 20 points and 9 rebounds. Minnesota falls to 15-50 and will host Indiana at 7pm Wednesday, pregame on WJON at 6:30.
Timberwolves Win At Detroit
The Timberwolves won 116-105 at Detroit Wednesday night to earn their 5th road win of the year. Kevin Love had 20 points and 20 rebounds and now has 48 straight double-doubles for Minnesota. Anthony Randolph saw a lot more playing time with Darko Milicic not with the team and he scored 19 points and 10 rebounds and Jonny Flynn had 14 assists.
T-Wolves Lose To Memphis
The Timberwolves lost at home to Memphis 104-95 Wednesday night. Kevin Love extended his double-double streak to 44 games tying Moses Malone for the record. Love had 15 points and 11 rebounds last night and Wayne Ellington added 16 points for Minnesota. Zach Randolph led Memphis with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Minnesota's newly acquired Anthony Randolph did not play but watched the game yesterday.
T-Wolves Lose To Milwaukee
The Timberwolves lost 94-88 at Milwaukee Tuesday night in their first game back from the NBA All Star break. Kevin Love led the Wolves with 20 points and 17 rebounds and extends his double-double streak to 43 games. Michael Beasley had 21 points for Minnesota and Brandon Jennings had 27 points for the Bucks.

Kobe Bryant of the Lakers led the West with 37 points and was chosen as the game's MVP. Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City added 34 points for the West and Timberwolves' forward Kevin Love added 2 points and 4 rebounds in 12 minutes.

The Timberwolves lose to the Los Angeles Clippers 98-90 Wednesday night. Kevin Love extended his double-double streak to 42 consecutive games with 18 points and 18 rebounds. Wayne Ellington added 18 points for the Wolves. Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 29 points and 8 rebounds.

The Timberwolves posted their 3rd road win of the season 104-92 at New Orleans Monday night. Kevin Love led the Wolves with 27 points and 17 rebounds posting his 37th straight double-double. 37 straight double-doubles ties a franchise record also held by Kevin Garnett. Michael Beasley added 14 points for Minnesota before leaving with an ankle injury.
Love Is An All Star; Wolves Lose At Toronto
Timberwolves forward Kevin Love was selected by NBA Commissioner David Stern as the injury replacement for Yao Ming for the Western Conference All Stars. This will be Love's first All Star appearance. He is averaging 21.3 points and 15.5 rebounds a game. The Wolves lost 111-100 at Toronto Friday night.
