The Twins signed leftfielder Delmon Young to a 1-year $5.4 Million contract Wednesday to avoid salary arbitration. Young batted .298 with 21 homeruns and 112 RBIs in 2010 for the Twins. Young is 24 years old. Pitchers and catchers need to report to spring training today with the first workouts scheduled for Friday.
