Chris Parmelee went 3-3 with a homrun and 3 RBIs and Michael Cuddyer was 2-4 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI for the Twins. Anthony Swarzak allowed 7 earned runs in just 1 2/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 3-7.

The Twins lost their 5th straight game Tuesday night 3-0 to the Chicago White Sox. Rookie Liam Hendriks from Perth, Australia allowed 4 hits and 3 earned runs in 7 innings to take the loss in his major league debut. Jake Peavy allowed 4 hits and no runs in 6 1/3 innings to get the win for Chicago. Trevor Plouffe and Chris Parmelee were each 2-4 for the Twins.
