SCSU Hockey Advances To Final Five

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team defeated Nebraska-Omaha 3-1 Saturday night to win the WCHA first round best of 3 series 2 games to none and advance to the WCHA Final Five.  Jared Festler, Ben Hanowski and Travis Novak each scored a goal for the Huskies and Mike Lee had 32 saves.  SCSU scored 2 goals in the 3rd period after the game was tied at 1 after 2.

St. Cloud State is 17-16-5 overall this season and will play in the WCHA Final Five in St. Paul at the Xcel Energy Center starting Thursday.
