Krych thrived at Apollo under head coach Dean Kessler.  Krych scored 1,235 points at Apollo and was a key part of the Apollo team that advanced to the Class 3A State Tournament.

Matt Reimer says ""We are very excited to add Simon to our program.," "He has worked very hard at Omaha and added 30 pounds of muscle to his frame since his Apollo days.  We look for Simon to be able to play the 4 or the 5 offensively and give us some physicality on the defensive end."
