The St. Cloud Rox improved to 6-3 in the second half of the Northwoods League season with a 4-3 win over the Thunder Bay Border Cats Friday at Port Arthur Stadium.

St. Cloud’s Adam Martin, who was named an All Star on Friday, continued his second-half tear by going 2-3 with two RBI. Eric Nyquist had a strong start once again for the Rox, lasting seven innings without allowing an earned run.

The Rox will play one more game at Port Arthur Stadium Saturday night before heading back to Minnesota for a game with the Willmar Stingers at Bill Taunton Stadium.
