River Bats Lose To Thunder Bay

The St. Cloud River Bats lost 8-3 to Thunder Bay Thursday night at Faber Field.  Derek Campbell went 3-4, Ronald Sucre was 1-3 with 2 runs scored and Keegan Dale was 1-3 with 1 RBI for St. Cloud.  Derek Martinez threw 1 2/3 innings with 4 hits and 3 earned runs allowed to take the loss for St. Cloud.

The Bats are 15-15, have lost 4 straight and are 6 1/2 games back of Alexandria for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.  St. Cloud will host Thunder Bay again tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.  It's Back to School Night at Faber Field tonight.  The first 500 kids 14 and under receive a drawstring backpack courtesy of Minnesota School of Business.
