Prep Baseball Playoffs; Crusaders Face Must Win Tonight

The Cathedral baseball team faces a must-win game tonight at Dick Putz Field when they play Wadena-Deer Creek at 5pm.  The Crusaders are the defending Class AA state champions.  If Cathedral wins tonight they will play the loser of the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle vs. Albany game at 7pm Tuesday night.  LPGE plays Albany at 7pm tonight in the winners bracket.  The winner advances to the Section 6AA final Thursday.

Apollo faces Rocori at 11am Tuesday in the section 83A playoffs.  The game is an elimination game with the winner advancing to play top seeded Bemidji and would have to beat them twice.  The Apollo/Rocori winner against Bemidji game will start 45 minutes after the completion of the first game.
