Twins’ outfielder Jason Kubel suffered a setback in his recovery from a sprained left foot Thursday night.  He was removed from the Class A Fort Myers game after feeling some discomfort in the foot after making a play.  Kubel began a rehab assignment at Class A Fort Myers this week.  The Twins hope to have Kubel back within a week.  He will be re-evaluated today.

The Twins were off Thursday and will host the Milwaukee Brewers beginning a 3-game series at Target Field tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Lefthander Francisco Liriano (4-7) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Yovani Gallardo (9-4) toes the rubber for the Brewers.

The Twins are 34-45 and 8 1/2 games back of Detroit for first place in the American League Central.
