Former Twin Jack Morris came closer but didn’t receive enough votes for induction in the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Morris was named on 66.7% of ballots by sportswriters.  He is 48 votes shy of getting induction.  Morris played 18 Major League Season and had 254 career wins with an ERA of 3.90.  He pitched the Twins to victory in game 7 of the 1991 World Series.  He threw 10 shutout innings to clinch the World Series title for the Twins against Atlanta.

Longtime Cincinnati Red shortstop Barry Larkin was named on 86.4% of the ballots and was the lone player to receive enough votes for induction.  Morris has 2 years remaining on the ballot.
