ST. CLOUD -- The #15/16 SCSU Huskies men's hockey team was unable to complete the comeback is last night's 3-2 loss to #2/3 North Dakota.

The Huskies fell behind 2-0 just four minutes into the game after goals by North Dakota's Trevor Olson and Brendan O'Donnell.

SCSU wing Patrick Russell cut the lead in half just one minute later and the Huskies looked to have the momentum.

The momentum swung back to UND after Olson scored his second goal about six minutes into the second period.

Trailing 3-1, forward Joey Benik brought the Huskies back to within one later in the period, but SCSU was unable to score another goal in the last 27 minutes of the game.

The loss puts the Huskies at 5-6-1 on the season.

SCSU will travel to Bemidji to take on the Beavers next weekend.
