Frericks Family Deals With Leukemia and Baseball [AUDIO]

T.J. Frericks is a 20-year old St. Cloud Apollo graduate and college baseball player at Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, Illinois. He is also fighting a rare form of leukemia called chronic myeloid leukemia. It is unusual for someone of his age to have this disease.

Timberwolves Sign Towns and Jones; Agree to Sign Garnett

The Timberwolves have come to an agreement to sign 6'11 forward Kevin Garnett to a 2-year contract. The 39-year old is expected to play approximately 20 minutes per game next season. Garnett is expected to sign the deal later this week.

SCSU Names Braegelmann Named Head Volleyball Coach

St. Cloud State announced the hiring of Chad Braegelmann as their new head volleyball coach today. He comes to SCSU from the University of Minnesota-Morris. He also served as Sports Studies and Athletics Discipline Coordinator and as Assistant Athletic Director.

The St. Cloud Rox downed the Waterloo Bucks 6-2 Wednesday night to start the 2nd half of the Northwoods League season. St. Cloud scored 5 runs in the 3rd inning and added 1 run in the 7th.

Wild Re-Sign Granlund and Prosser

The Minnesota Wild have re-signed top center Mikael Granlund to a 2-year contract worth $6 million. He'll receive $2.8 Million the first year and $3.2 Million in 2016-2017. Grandlund had 39 points this past season with 8 goals and 31 assists for the Wild.
