#1 SCSU Upset By #8 BSU In NSIC Tourney Opener
The St. Cloud State Huskies were upset by Bemidji State 9-3 at Joe Faber Field Wednesday. The Beavers scored three runs in the top of the first inning to pace the victory.
The Huskies briefly cut the BSU lead to 3-1 on a Brian Hansen sacrifice fly to score Garrett Fischer, but the Beavers notched five runs in the top of the fifth for an 8-1 lead that would prove to be insurmountable

St. Cloud State associate athletic director Tracy Dill has been announced as the new athletic director at Bemidji State University. Dill has been with SCSU since 1988.
Dill joined SCSU as an assistant football coach in 1988 and in the same year became head coach of the track and field teams
