ESPN is reporting that Corey Brewer could potentially be traded from the Timberwolves to either Houston or Cleveland.

Brewer, one of the few veteran players on the Wolves roster, has averaged 9.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game so far in 2014.

Minnesota may simply be looking to trade from its deepest position, small forward, to add depth to a roster that is becoming more depleted by the day. Ricky Rubio is not expected back for some time with an ankle injury, centers Nikola Pekovic and Ronny Turiaf have each missed a lot of time with various ailments and starting forward Thaddeus Young is on the bereavement list following the death of his mother.

The Wolves host the Knicks Wednesday night at Target Center.
