It will be interesting to see how the season unfolds, as the Twins can be as good as their health allows them to be. If they stay healthy, they could finish in the upper end of the division. But if they endure a lot of injuries again then they will once again be near the bottom. We can only wait and see what happens.
With spring training well under way and the start of the season just over a week away, I am going to take a look at the position players that figure to get key playing time this season. Each player will have a question associated with them involving some sort of a number, whether it is homeruns, games played or something along those lines. I will then either take over that number or under, and will defend my reasoning behind each choice.
This edition of “Rebuilding the Twins” will focus on who I think will be on the Twins Opening Day roster. With Spring Training set to start in a few days, it won’t be too long before the roster will start to take shape. A lot of the pieces are already in place, with just a few key spots up for grabs.
