The Tech Tigers boys basketball team saw their five game winning streak snapped Tuesday night in a 56-51 loss to St. Michael-Albertville at Buffalo High School. Jake Mussman led the Tigers with 21 points in the loss. Elsewhere, the Cathedral Crusaders finished their holiday tournament 0-2 with a 63-55 overtime loss to Litchfield.
The Wild erased a 2-0, second period deficit with a trio of goals from Ryan Carter, Justin Fontaine and Marco Scandella. Scandella's game winner was his ninth goal of the season, fifth-best among all NHL defensemen.
