All Star Game Expected to be at Target Field in 2014

The Major League Baseball All Star game appears headed for Target Field in 2014.  An official announcement is expected later this week.  Numerous reports indicate that Target Field is the likely pick for the All Star game and the All Star festivities which include the Homerun Derby.  Twins owner Jim Pohlad says he believes an announcement is imminent.

Kansas City hosted the All Star game in 2012.  Target Field has been the home of the Twins since 2010.  This is the 3rd season the Twins have played there.
