The 3rd ranked Gopher men's hockey team defeated St. Cloud State 3-2 Saturday night to complete a sweep of SCSU.  Saturday night's win over SCSU for Minnesota came in St. Cloud.  Sam Warning scored the game-winning goal for the Gophers to break a 2-all tie in the 3rd period.  Ben Hanowski tied the game at 2 in the 2nd period and Hanowski scored the first SCSU goal in the 1st period.

SCSU led 1-0 after the first period.  Ryan Faragher had 43 saves as the Huskies were outshot 46-12.  St. Cloud State drops to 10-14-4 overall and 7-10-3 in the WCHA.  SCSU will play at Wisconsin next Friday and Saturday nights.
