The list is full of names of first-round draft busts, Heisman Trophy winners who never reached such heights in the professional game and, in some cases, players you've probably never heard of. (Did you know some guy named Randy Johnson played quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons at some point?)

Living in NFC North territory, it seemed fitting to share their picks for the worst quarterbacks ever to start a game in Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay and right here in Minnesota. Here's their selections. What do you think?

Chicago Bears - Caleb Hanie
Hanie started four games for the Bears during the 2011 season. The team went 0-4 during his tenure as a starter and Hanie threw 9 interceptions and only 3 touchdowns during that time. The team went from 7-4 to 7-8 during his time at the helm, and finished with an 8-8 record during the 2011 season. Hanie spent four seasons with the Bears (2008-2011), and was signed and released by Denver, Cleveland, Baltimore and Dallas between 2012 and 2014, never throwing a regular-season pass for any of those teams. He threw for 679 career yards, with 3 touchdowns and 10 picks.

Detroit Lions - Andre Ware
Ware won the Heisman Trophy in 1989, but his professional career never really took off. He started only six games for the Lions, playing in 14 games in the early-1990s. He also spent three seasons in the Canadian Football League. His career NFL stats include 1,112 passing yards, 5 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

Green Bay Packers - Scott Tolzien
Tolzien was called into action during the 2013 season, starting two games when Aaron Rodgers was injured. His stats were less than impressive, with the Packers going 0-1-1 during his time under center, and Tolzien throwing 5 interceptions and only 1 touchdown during that time. Tolzien was originally picked up as an undrafted free agent by San Diego, where he was on the roster for the 2011 season. He was then with the San Francisco 49ers in 2012. He never threw a regular-season pass for either team. The two starts were among three games in which Tolzien appeared that season. He hasn't thrown another regular-season NFL pass since that stint, although he is still with the Packers. He's thrown for 717 career yards with only the 1 touchdown and 5 interceptions.

Minnesota Vikings - Christian Ponder
This one might surprise some Vikings fans. After all, Ponder started A LOT of games - 36 of them over a four-year span in Minnesota. He tallied a 14-21-1 record during that time, throwing for more than 6,600 yards. What do you think of their selection, Vikings fans? Would you agree that Ponder was the worst starter Minnesota has ever had? Or do you have somebody else in mind for that dubious distinction?
