The Wolves got Chase Budinger back from injury but it wasn’t enough to overcome the lowly Kings in Sacramento.

The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to Sacramento 101-98 Thursday night. Chase Budinger played his first game since a November knee injury and contributed nine points in the loss.

Nikola Pekovic led the Wolves with 18 points and three other Wolves finished in double figures. The Kings were led by Tyreke Evans, who scored 21 points in the win.

Minnesota hosts Chicago on Sunday night at Target Center.
