The Minnesota Timberwolves fell 100-98 to the Dallas Mavericks at Target Center on Monday night.

Kevin Love appeared to be fouled as he attempted a game-tying shot, but no foul was called and the game ended.

Love led the Wolves with 36 points on 14-24 shooting while pulling down 11 rebounds. Kevin Martin added 19 points in the loss for Minnesota.

Shawn Marion led the Mavs with 32 points on 14-19 shooting including a couple of key three pointers down the stretch.

Minnesota falls to 15-16 on the season, three games behind Dallas for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
