Wolves’ Kirilenko Named FIBA Player Of The Year

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrei Kirilenko was named the 2012 FIBA Europe Player of the Year Tuesday. Kirilenko played in Moscow last season.

Kirilenko also led the Russian national team to a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic was ninth in the annual voting.
