Willmar Sneaks By Rox 5-4

The St. Cloud Rox lost 5-4 Wednesday afternoon at Joe Faber Field.  The game started an hour late due to soggy field conditions after rain moved through central Minnesota Wednesday morning.  St. Cloud went out to a 3-0 lead but Willmar came back with a 3-run 6th inning to take the lead.  Tony Skjefte went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Ty Jackson hit a 2-run homerun and Chris Paul was 2-4 with 1 run scored for the Rox.  Tadd Johansen threw 6 innings with 10 hits and 4 earned runs allowed.  Sergio Luna allowed 1 earned run in 2 innings to take the loss.

The Rox have lost 11 straight games and are 5-16 on the season.  St. Cloud will play at Willmar tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
