Wild Top Montreal For 9th Straight Win
The Minnesota Wild won their 9th straight game 4-2 at Montreal Thursda night. No one scored in the first period but each team scored 2 goals in the 2nd. Jordan Schroeder and Jared Spurgeon scored goals for the Wild in the 2nd. Eric Staal scored the game-winning goal 3 minutes into the 3rd period shorthanded. Jason Zucker added an empty net goal in the final minute.
Devan Dubnyk had 32 saves for the Wild. Minnesota was out-shot 34-27. The Wild are 20-8-4 and have 44 points.
The Wild will play at the New York Rangers at 6pm tonight, pregame on AM 1390 at 5:45.
