The Minnesota Wild kept their narrow playoff hopes alive with a 1-0 win over the Flames in Calgary on Thursday night. Minnesota trails Calgary by five points for the eighth playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Zach Parise scored the game's only goal in the first period, assisted by Thomas Vanek, and Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves to earn the shutout. It was Dubnyk's second shutout since joining the Wild and 11th of his career.

The Wild are at Vancouver on Sunday. The game's start time has been moved to 2:00 on AM 1390 The Fan.
