ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild defense stifled the struggling Anaheim Ducks in a 3-0 win on Saturday night.

The Wild held the Ducks to only 15 shots on goal for the game -- all of which were stopped by goalie Devan Dubnyk.

Matt Dumba's goal in the first period got Minnesota's scoring started. Goals by Thomas Vanek and Ryan Carter in the second gave the Wild the 3-0 lead.

With the win, Minnesota improves to 5-1-1 on the season. The Wild will travel to Winnipeg tonight to play the Jets with the puck drop at 5:00 p.m.
