SUNRISE - The Wild could only score once against the Florida Panthers yesterday, eventually falling in the shootout for a final score of 2-1.

The loss wrapped up a shaky 1-2-1 road trip for the Wild. Minnesota now holds a 3-3-3 overall record this season.

Jonas Brodin scored the lone goal for the Wild with a power play goal in the second period. Minnesota failed to take advantage of a couple of 5-on-3 advantage situations, with shots going off the post.

The game had to be decided through a shootout.

Brad Boyes and Jonathan Huberdeau both scored for the Panthers, as Parise and Koivu were both denied by Panthers goalie Tim Thomas.

Josh Harding had another solid performance in front of the net for the Wild, stopping 21 shots in the action.

The Wild return home next week to take on the Predators Tuesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
