Wild Lose Fourth Straight to Winnipeg Jets
WINNIPEG - Dany Heatley, Justin Fontaine, Stephane Veilleux, and Mikko Koivu all scored for the Wild, but it wasn't enough as Minnesota fell to Winnipeg 6-4 Friday night.
Blake Wheeler scored two goals for the Jets, including the go-ahead goal in the third period to put Winnipeg up 5-4.
Nicklas Backstrom made 32 saves in front of the net for the Wild. Minnesota falls to (20-15-5) this season.
The Wild hope to bounce back when they return home Sunday night to face off against the New York Islanders. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m.
