The Minnesota Wild lost 3-2 at San Jose Thursday night.  Patrick Marleau scored the game-winning goal to break a 2-all tie for the Sharks.  John Madden and Kyle Brodziak each scored a goal for the Wild and Niklas Backstrom had 47 saves for Minnesota.  The Wild were outshot 50-30 and their record falls to 35-29-7 and with 77 points are 6 points back of the 8th and final playoff spot in the West.  Minnesota will host Columbus at 1:00 Saturday, pregame on WJON at 12:35.
