The Minnesota Wild announced Thursday they have re-signed restricted free agent goaltender Darcy Kuemper to a two year contract.

The Wild, who open training camp Friday at Xcel Energy Center, were running very thin at goaltender after Josh Harding injured his foot in an off-ice incident.

Kuemper, 24, was 12-8-4 with a 2.43 GAA and .915 save percentage last season. Ilya Bryzgalov is also in camp on a tryout contract.

The Wild open the preseason on Monday.
