The Minnesota Wild continue a road swing with a game against Anaheim Tuesday night in California. The Wild fell to the Sharks 3-2 on Saturday night when Joe Thornton scored with 1:30 left in the extra period to seal the win for San Jose.

The Ducks are in first place in the Western Conference at 39-10-5, and are a remarkable 21-1-2 at home this season. Anaheim has 83 points, comfortably ahead of second place Chicago, who has 76 points.

The Wild continue to tread water at the bottom of the Western Conference playoff race, sitting in eighth place with a 28-20-6 record and 62 points. Minnesota trails seventh place Vancouver by just one point while leading ninth-place Phoenix by four points.
