Wild Edge Dallas 5-3 To Close The Season

The Minnesota Wild closed their season with a 5-3 win over the Dallas Stars the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  Antti Miettienen scored the game-winning goal in the 3rd period and break a 3-all tie.  Brad Staubitz, Jared Spurgeon and Colton Gillies each scored a goal and Pierre-Marc Bouchard added an empty net goal for Minnesota.  Andrew Brunette and Mikko Koivu each had 2 assists for the Wild.  Minnesota finishes the season with a 39-35-8 record.  Dallas misses the playoffs with the loss.
