The Minnesota Wild drafted defenseman Mathew Dumba with the 7th overall pick in the first round Friday night.  Dumba is a 5'11 184 pounder from Canada.  He played in the WHL for Red Deer.  In the 2nd round the Wild picked left wing Raphael Bussires from Canada, 3rd round pick was defenseman John Draeger from Shattack St. Mary's in Faribault, Minnesota, 4th round pick was center Adam Gilmore from the U.S., 5th round defenseman Daniel Gunnarsson from Sweden, 6th round center Christoph Bertschy from Switzerland and 7th round Louis Nanne from Edina, Minnesota.

Nanne is the grandson of former Minnesota North Star Lou Nanne.
