The Minnesota Wild won 4-3 at Edmonton in their preseason opener Tuesday night.  Minnesota went out to 3-0 lead only to allow Edmonton to come back to tie the game before Jared Spurgeon scored the game-winning goal in the 3rd period for the Wild.  Spurgeon had 2 goals for the Wild and both Jared Palmer and Pierre-Marc Bouchard each scored 1 goal for Minnesota.  Josh Harding had 14 saves in net for the Wild.

Minnesota will play their 2nd preseason game at St. Louis at 7pm Thursday night.
