The Minnesota Wild defeated Anaheim 3-2 Sunday night and move into first place in the Northwest Division.  The Wild scored 3 first period goals.  Matt Cullen scored a goal and added an assist and both Kyle Brodziak and Jared Spurgeon scored a goal for the Wild.  Niklas Backstrom had 32 saves for Minnesota.

The Wild were outshot 34-26.  Minnesota improves to 9-5-3 and with 21 points lead the Northwest Division by 1 point over Edmonton and 2 points over Vancouver.  The Wild play at Columbus at 7pm Tuesday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
