Who Won’t Be With The Twins In 2012

The Twins will make some serious changes after this embarrassing 2011 season.  Who won't be back?  Pitchers Carl Pavano, Kevin Slowey, Matt Capps, Glen Perkins and Francisco Liriano could all be traded before the trade deadline.  The Twins we also need to decide whether to bring back free agents Michael Cuddyer and Jason Kubel and Jim Thome could be done after this season.  I forsee the Twins starting rotation looking like this:  Francisco Liriano, Scott Baker, Nick Blackburn, Kyle Gibson and Brian Duensing.  The Twins will add numerous relievers via free agency and Carlos Gutierrez will be here to log some time there.  Joe Mauer will finally be back to catch, Justin Morneau, 1B, Tsyoshi Nishioka, 2B, free agent SS, Danny Valencia 3B, Ben Revere LF, Denard Span CF, Michael Cuddyer RF, and Jason Kubel DH.  The Twins will also find a better backup catcher, sign a free agent shortstop and use Kubel plenty in leftfield.  I forsee the Twins trading Delmon Young either at the trade deadline or in the offseason.
