The Twins were swept in the day/night doubleheader by the Chicago White Sox Monday.  The White Sox won 2-1 in the afternoon and 4-0 at night.  Anthony Swarzak threw 8 innings with 7 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 3-6.  Former Twin Phil Humber threw 7 shutout innings with 6 hits allowed to get the win.

Zach Stewart took a no-hitter into the 8th inning in game 2 before it was broken up by Danny Valencia with a single to right field.  Stewart settled for a complete-game 1-hit shutout to get the win.  Scott Diamond allowed 8 hits and 2 earned runs in 5 innings to get the loss for Minnesota.

The Twins are 58-83 and are now 1/2 game back of Kansas City for 4th place in the American League Central.  The Twins are in last place.  Minnesota will host the White Sox again at 7:10 tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Liam Hendriks makes his major league debut for the Twins and righthander Jake Peavy (6-7) toes the rubber for the White Sox.
