There are plenty of great games this weekend, and frankly you can't go wrong with any of them. Here are my top 5, feel free to give us your top 5 in the comments!

1. Minnesota Wild Season Opener (8:00 Saturday Night, WJON)

The Wild are ready to roll out their new superstars in Zach Parise and Ryan Suter as they look to make a run at the Stanley Cup. Up first is a matchup with divison rival Colorado, followed by a visit from the Stars on Sunday night (7:00, 1390 The Fan)

2. Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots- AFC Championship (5:30 PM Sunday, 1390 The Fan)

The Ravens are looking to avenge a 23-20 loss in last season's AFC Championship game in Foxboro and advance to the Super Bowl in linebacker Ray Lewis' final season.

3. North Dakota @ Minnesota Men's WCHA Hockey (7:00 PM Friday, WJON; 5:00 PM Saturday)

As crazy as it sounds, this will be the last regular season series between these two teams for the foreseeable future. The WCHA is disbanding after the 2012-13 season with the Gophers going to the newly formed Big 10 hockey conference and North Dakota heading to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. Tickets for this series have consistently sold in triple figures, which promises a rowdy atmosphere at Mariucci Arena this weekend.

4. San Francisco 49ers @ Atlanta Falcons- NFC Championship (2:00 PM Sunday, 1390 The Fan)

Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan and tight end Tony Gonzalez each earned their first playoff victories last week in a bonkers victory over Seattle. Will there be a letdown vs San Francisco Sunday, or will the Falcons find new confidence against the 49ers?

5. Dallas @ Wild (7:00 Sunday Night, 1390 The Fan)

Other games this weekend:

Men's College Basketball- Kansas @ Texas (11:45 AM, 1390 The Fan)

Boys Basketball- Brainerd @ Rocori (7:20 PM, 1390 The Fan)

Women's College Basketball- Nebraska @ Minnesota (4:30 PM, 1390 The Fan)
