Vikings’ Williams Wins Walter Payton Award

Minnesota Viking safety Madieu Williams won the Walter Payton Man of the Year award for his charitable endeavors.  The award was announced Sunday at the Super Bowl.  The award recognizes community service in addition to contributing on the field.  Williams has played the last 3 seasons for the Vikings and compiled 75 tackles and 1 interception in 2010 with Minnesota.
