Vikings Likely To Play Without Herrera

The Vikings will likely play without right guard Anthony Herrera Sunday at Carolina.  Herrera suffered damage to his surgically repaired left knee against Green Bay.  Joe Berger will likely start in Herrera’s place.  Center John Sullivan and safety Jamarca Sanford were both cleared to practice this week and both did practice as full participates Wednesday.  Both should play Sunday.

Receiver Percy Harvin (ribs), tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (foot), linebacker E.J. Henderson (not injury related) and running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.  Peterson and Henderson are expected to play Sunday while Harvin and Shiancoe are question marks at this point.

Hear more about the Vikings tonight on Vikings Live at Winter Park from 6-7pm on AM 1390-the Fan.  The Vikings play at Carolina at noon Sunday, pregame on WJON at 11am.
