Vikings’ Harvin Misses Practice

The Vikings practiced Wednesday without receiver Percy Harvin.  Harvin sat out with a rib injury he aggravated Tuesday.  His backup as a slot receiver Greg Camarillo missed practice as well with a sore groin.  Both are questionable to play Saturday night at Seattle at 9pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 8:00.

Other players missing practice Wednesday include tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (hamstring), linebacker Heath Farwell (hamstring), linebacker Kenny Onatolu (foot), defensive end D'Aundre Reed (calf) and cornerback Simeon Casille (hamstring).  Linebacker Jonathan Gilmore left practice early Tuesday to check an irregular heartbeat.  He returned to practice Wednesday.

Donavan McNabb will start at quarterback Saturday night and play a quarter and possibly into the 2nd quarter.  Rookie Christian Ponder will be the 2nd quarterback to see action.
