The Vikings defeated the St Louis Rams 21-18 in overtime Sunday afternoon.  Minnesota trailed 15-10 at halftime but Teddy Bridgewater gave the Vikings an 18-15 lead the 3rd quarter with a 6-yard touchdown run. Bridgewater ran in a 2-point conversion to follow. Greg Zuerlein made a 53-yard field goal with 12 seconds left to force overtime. After the Vikings forced a punt Shaun Hill got the Vikings into field goal range and Blair Walsh made a 40 yard field goal to win the game.

Teddy Bridgewater left the game in the 4th quarter after he was hit in the head on a scramble. He suffered a possible concussion.  Adrian Peterson ran for 125 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown and Bridgewater was 13-21 passing for 144 yards.

Minnesota is 6-2 and is now tied with Green Bay for first place in the NFC North. The Vikings play at Oakland next Sunday at 3:05, pregame on WJON at 2:00.
