The Twins scored earlyand often Thursday night to beat the Chicago White Sox 6-2.  Minnesota scored 1 run in the first inning, 2 in the 2nd inning and 3 in the 4th.  Ben Revere led the Twins at the plate going 3-5 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs and Joe Mauer had 3 hits and 2 RBI playing 1st base for the first time in his major league career.  Carl Pavano threw 6 innings with 2 hits allowed to get the win and improve to 6-6.

The Twins will play at Chicago against the White Sox again tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Nick Blackburn (6-6) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Gavin Floyd (6-8) toes the rubber for the White Sox.  Minnesota is 8 games back of Cleveland for first place in the American League Central.
