The Twins beat the Tigers 8-4 Wednesday night at Target Field for their second win in a row. Minnesota is now 65-87 on the season.

Despite falling behind 2-0 before even coming to bat, and 4-3 after just an inning and a half, the Twins persevered for the win.

Brian Dozier, Joe Mauer, Trevor Plouffe and Danny Santana each had multi-hit games for the Twins, with Santana contributing three hits and three runs in the win.

Kyle Gibson survived a shaky start (four runs in the first two innings) to pick up his 12th win of the season. Gibson lasted seven innings while allowing four runs on seven hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

The Twins are off Thursday before hosting Cleveland at Target Field on Friday.
